An attorney called me about Client B. He was working on her trust documents and she needed some help. We set up an appointment for Client B to visit with me along with her daughter, who lived out of state. The daughter needed someone to help her Mom when she could not be here.
We helped Client B visit her attorney’s office to sign the legal documents for her estate and took time to explain some of the legal concepts along with the attorney. We then took Client B to her banks to change the titles of the accounts to the trust name. The daughter pays Mom’s bills through the internet, but our office takes care of her tax returns. Occasionally, we will visit Client B if papers need to be signed, if checks need to be picked up and deposited to her account or to just check on her for her daughter. Client B was comfortable that she was being taken care of both by her daughter and our office.
